The Joseph C. Zoller Memorial Fund is having its 10th annual Golf Classic on Monday, July 21, at the Sands Point Golf Club.
This is a great day at one of the finest private courses in Nassau County, a spokeswoman said.
The day includes brunch, golf, a lavish cocktail hour, dinner and a spectacular auction of unique items. All donations and proceeds from this event will ensure that this charity continues to grow and maintain Joseph C. Zoller’s legacy for years to come.
In his memory, the family established a scholarship fund in Joe’s name at Fordham University, his alma mater. To date, over $400,000 has been raised to provide financial assistance to deserving teachers pursuing a graduate degree.
This year the foundation is fortunate to have Connie O’Reilly, owner of Finn MacCool’s in Port Washington, as the honoree. Connie has always been philanthropic in his support of the Port Washington community and everyone is very appreciative of his many contributions.
The Zoller family is looking forward to another successful event supporting a worthy cause. If you have any questions, please call Richard H. Zoller, at 883-4810. Additional information can be found on the website, at www.zollermemorialfund.org.
