Salk Middle School’s eighth-grade softball team in Levittown had a perfect, undefeated season winning all 11 of their games. The Lady Seahawks played extremely tough games against Woodland and Grand Avenue, coming out on top in thrilling victories. Outstanding fundamentals, teamwork and communication were key components in the team’s success.
In addition to a perfect record, pitchers Jessica Budrewicz and Megan Sorg each pitched a no-hitter during the course of the season. Budrewicz also pitched an extraordinary perfect game against Hicksville
School District. The team’s hard work and dedication throughout the entire season was the cause of their monumental achievement, resulting in an unforgettable season.
Coach Danielo congratulated the team on their impressive improvement and success, and wished them luck as they move on to the MacArthur softball program next year.
