Nine Sewanhaka High School students recently participated in the Mathathon for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising $525. The top fundraiser was Ramsha Merchant, who raised $240. The other participants were Justin Saji, Christopher Salazar, Nicole Ruiz, Samantha Elfassy, Maikel Angeles, Nevin Balgobin, Samatha Herrera and Roodgina Guerries. The students who participated belonged to Sara Gage and Peggy McHugh’s seventh grade classes.
