House Fire On Manor Drive

On July 2, the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at 59 Manor Drive in Manhasset.

Deputy Chief Candan and Engine 8740 responded from a previous alarm and were immediately encountered with a heavy smoke condition on the fire block.

Chief of Department Farrone transmitted a Signal 10 for a working fire in the attic of a private dwelling that was struck by lightening. Companies 1, 2, 3 and the Ambulance Unit responded in addition to E8740.
