North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Councilwoman Viviana Russell, in conjunction with Fundamental Sports Training and Elite Youth Camps announce NBA star Nate Robinson will be conducting a three-day basketball clinic at the North Hempstead’s “Yes We Can” community center July 21 through July 23. Robinson will train girls and boys ages 11-18 on those three days from 6-9 p.m.
Robinson, currently on the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, has played in the NBA for nine years and is a three-time NBA Slam Dunk Champion.
The basketball clinic is for boys and girls “looking to improve and train like a pro.” It will feature training in areas such as: pick and roll reads, 1v1 moves, jump shots, defense, core strength, dribbling, and more.
