On Sunday, Aug. 17, the Long Island Junior Soccer League and the Estee Lauder Companies will join forces to host the 11th annual Pink Ribbon Soccer Festival at the Peter C. Collins Soccer Park in Plainview. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, dedicated to advancing the world’s most promising cancer research.
The event is for girls’ teams ages under-13 and under-14. Games begin at 9 am, and all teams will play three games. All players will receive a commemorative festival t-shirt, there will be special Pink Ribbon merchandise for sale and all commemorative game balls will be raffled off to help raise additional proceeds.
