Magdalen R. Plominski

Magdalen R. Plominski passed away peacefully on June 30. She is now safely at home in the arms of God.
Magdalen was born in 1920, in the City of Manhattan and moved to Port Washington in 1952.
She was the daughter of George and Catherine Riemann. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Joseph and brother, George Riemann.
Magdalen was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church for over 50 years. She served as President of the Rosary Alter Society, Catholic Daughters and Our Lady of Fatima Parish Council. She shared her commitment to her faith and church community as a Eucharistic minister, lector, faith partner, charismatic prayer group leader and bereavement leader.
Additionally, she was dedicated to the community at large, and volunteered as President of the Port Washington/Manhasset Chapter of AARP, PW PTA, election official, usher at the Rimsky Theatre and the Soup Kitchen.
Magdalen is survived by her eight loving children and their spouses: Magdalene (Felix) Lopez, Port Washington; Mary Ellen (Jim) Dewey, Narragansett, RI; Kathleen (Kevin) Grace, Loveland, OH; Stanley (Patricia), Port Washington; Paul John, Maineville, OH; Regina (Scott) Eaton; North Kingstown, RI; Joseph, Cincinnati, OH; and Thomas (Christian), Port Washington; her 13 cherished grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services were held at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church on July 8.
