Saturday: Drive For Gina Gallardo

This bone marrow/blood drive is being held in honor of Syosset cancer survivor Gina Gallardo, as well as all children battling cancer in the local area. “My goal is to recruit bone marrow donors as well as blood donors and to raise money for all of the charities that help families that have children with cancer,” says Gina’s mom, Katie Gallardo. There will also be raffles, auctions, vendors and a bake sale. Your donation will help to save up to three lives. Plainview Reformed Church, 560 Old Bethpage Rd., Plainview. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 19.
