The Levittown School District Board of Education and administration reorganized for the official start of the 2014-2015 school year at its July 9 meeting.
Dr. Tonie McDonald took the oath of office as superintendent of schools, administered by school district attorney Bob Cohen of Lamb & Barnosky, LLP.The Board also elected Peggy Marenghi to the position of school board president. Ed Powers was appointed vice president and Frank Ward as secretary, respectively. In addition, re-elected trustees Michael Pappas and Frank Ward took the oath of office, as well as Karen Smith, newly elected as trustee for a term of three years.
