On July 23-24, come to the Farmingdale Multiplex Cinema at 1001 Broad Hollow Road, at 7:30 p.m., for a special presentation of Monty Python Live (mostly). Unrated, 3 hours. Music Under the Stars: The New Yorkers
Part of the Town of Oyster Bay “Music Under the Stars” Summer Concert series. On July 25, join tenors Andy Cooney, Daniel Rodriguez and Christopher Macchio with special guest comedian Jim Labriola, at 8 p.m., as they perform at Ellsworth Allen Park, 45 Motor Ave., Farmingdale.

St. Kilian Presents The Wizard of Oz
The St. Kilian Players Theatrical Group will be performing The Wizard of Oz in the church rectory, 485 Conklin St. in Farmingdale, at 7 p.m. on July 26 and again at 2 p.m. on July 27. Tickets are $12 a piece and seating is reserved.
The performance will resume the following week with two shows on Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and a final matinee on Aug. 3 at 2 p.m.
Alfie’s Dance Party

Divorced, Separated and Widowed Support Group
On July 28, join St. Kilian’s Roman Catholic Church from 7:30-9 p.m. for this support group for anyone who has dealt or is currently dealing with divorce, separation or widowhood. The support group meets every Monday in the church basement, at 485 Conklin St. in Farmingdale.
Board of Trustees Work Session
The next public work session of the Farmingdale Board of Trustees will be held at 7 p.m. on July 28 at Village Hall, 361 Main St. During the meeting the board is expected vote on the 2013-2014 budget and reserve adjustments.

On July 31, come to the village green at 8 p.m. for a showing of the film Despicable Me 2. Rated PG, 98 minutes. The film stars Steve Carrell as Gru, a former villain turned good-guy who is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help deal with a powerful new super criminal.
