The New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) has elected Kellen Company vice president Holly Koenig to serve on its Board of Directors. Koenig is a veteran association management executive with nearly three decades of experience leading complex national and international trade associations and professional societies for Kellen Company, a global leader in association services, conference planning, communications, regulatory issues and public affairs. She will serve a three-year term with NYSAE, working to implement the group’s mission of advancing and serving the association and not-for-profit professions.
“Kellen Company is extremely proud and supportive of Holly representing the association and not-for-profit profession on the NYSAE Board,” said Peter Rush, CEO of Kellen Company. “She’s a change agent and widely recognized for her entrepreneurial work style, organizational capacity and ability to deliver. She’s contributed significantly to NYSAE through the years and we look forward to continued results in her new role.”
Koenig has been an active and vital member of NYSAE since 1990 and is one of only four distinguished members to receive the group’s triple crown of awards. Besides being recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Committee Chair, she was named Outstanding Association Executive in 2010, and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2012. Koenig founded and continues to chair NYSAE’s Executive Women in Nonprofits Shared Interest Group.
“I am thrilled to join the Board of Directors and take my role to the next level,” said Koenig. “NYSAE plays an important part in New York City and the public sector community, offering key resources, education and networking to association and not-for-profit leaders and their constituents.”
In addition to serving on the NYSAE Board, Holly chairs the Advisory Board for Mentoring USA, an organization founded by Matilda Raffa Cuomo.
