North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilwoman Viviana Russell recently stopped by to view the ongoing Westbury Hills sidewalk repair project. Sections of the sidewalks have been replaced along Cedar and Pinetree Roads, which is the culmination of repair of all sidewalks in the Westbury Hills community over the past several years. This $25,000 project was necessary for safety reasons due to uprooted trees in the neighborhood. Six trees were removed on Pinetree and Cedar and residents will have the option to replace them or not, at the cost of the Town.
