$400K Raised In Jericho For Kids

On a beautiful June evening, The Long Island Council of Save the Children held a 30th Birthday Bash and fundraiser celebrating its founding by Susan Lassen and the late ML Gaston Held at Jericho’s Meadowbrook Club, the event raised more than $400,000 for the organization, widely regarded as the world’s top independent charity for children in need. Pictured here, Save the Children Long Island Council President Mary Jo Balkind (right), with Alexandra Galston Murray (Daughter of Founder ML Galston) and her husband, Mathew Murray.
