Syosset-based Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island (JCRC-LI) recently welcomed Robyn Berman as its program director. Berman will be coordinating the Long Island Celebrate Israel Festival, JCRC-LI’s Community Leadership Program (CLP), countywide Yom HaShoah programs and will work on JCRC-LI’s social media efforts and media relations.
Berman brings more than 14 years experience to her work at JCRC-LI, having most recently worked at Mid-Island Y JCC in Plainview. She also worked at the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) and UJA-Federation of NY. Berman is a graduate of the University of Maryland and New York University. She also worked overseas as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Poland.
