Jean Rae Dunn, 95, of Ilion, NY (former longtime resident of Levittown, NY) passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 8,2014. Married April 17, 1948 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC, to Edward J.Dunn. A Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, she served as past Regent to the Jerusalem Chapter, Wantagh. She enjoyed reading at least two books per week, watching the NY Rangers and NY Yankees, cross stitching and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Schwabach (Bruce)of Ilion, NY, Michael Dunn of Wantagh, NY, nine grandchildren Victor Ortiz (Kelley), Pablo Ortiz (Judy), Julian Ortiz, Kelsey Alford (Justin), James Schwabach, Erica Schwabach, Brendan Dunn, Allison Dunn, Reilly Dunn, two great grandchildren, Elliot Ortiz and Amelia Ortiz, a special cousin, Dexter Miller, special sister-in-law Anne Veilson, brother~in-law Martin Dunn and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in April 1989 by her beloved husband, Edward, and in March 1999 by their cherished daughter, Nancy Ortiz. Funeral Service and interment took place Saturday, Aug. 16, at St. Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
