A new restaurant has come to Greenvale.
Grace’s Marketplace, a family-owned and operated specialty food retailer and caterer for nearly 30 years, opened Grace’s Trattoria East at 81 Glen Cove Rd.
The restaurant, which is part of Grace’s Marketplace, will be serving a full dinner menu for the first time since the marketplace opened in 2008.
Executive Chef Joe Trama and Chef Brian Snider, both formerly of Grace’s Trattoria in Manhattan, which closed recently, will oversee all operations.
Grace’s Trattoria East, they said, will offer waiter service, plus a full menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts, including signature dishes such as tagliatelle with lobster, whole roasted branzino, featured daily specials, and more.
The casual restaurant will continue its practice of sourcing all ingredients and products directly from the marketplace, keeping true to its market-to-table motto.
Grace’s Trattoria East is open Monday through Saturday, from 5 to 9 p.m. Reservations and walk-ins are accepted, though reservations are preferred for parties up to six; BYOB service; takeout orders are for pick-up only; outdoor seating is available.
