Included here are more photos of artwork that will be on display at the 17th annual Craft and Fine Art Festival to be held Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28, the Roslyn Harbor-based Nassau County Museum of Art.
In all, up to 90 American master craftsmen and fine artists will display their goods under large tents. They include dramatic metal and stone sculpture, designer apparel in silk, cashmere, organic cotton, alpaca and other natural fibers.
Among that selection is the artwork by Long Island artists Barbara Lash, Joe Michlin and Cindy Ciarcia.
For years, organizers said, the festival has been one of the best-attended American crafts exposition, benefiting greatly by being on the grounds of Long Island’s premier art museum.
This year, they added, up to 10,000 visitors are expected to see the $18 million display that is representative of America’s craft masters and fine artists.
A modest admission fee will benefit the museum. Admission is $8, children under 12 admitted free, $1 discount for seniors on Saturday.
