After three years of planning and one year of construction, Shelter Rock Church (178 Cold Spring Rd. Syosset) is having its grand opening on Sep. 6 for a newly renovated and expanded campus that will provide the community with a new gymnasium, handicap access, and community meeting space for children, students and adults.
Lead Pastor Jerry O’Sullivan is hopeful that many neighbors and residents of Syosset and the surrounding communities will come out from 1-3 p.m. to check out the new space and say hello.
The Grand Opening festivities will include a ribbon cutting celebration from 1:00-1:30PM and walking tours from 1:30-3:00PM all are welcome, free refreshments and an opportunity to meet the staff and learn about many of the programs that Shelter Rock Church will be offering to the community to grow in your faith, improve marriages, strengthen family relationships and recover from challenges like divorce and addiction. Shelter Rock is a non-denominational Christian Multi-Campus Church with two locations one in Manhasset and the other in Syosset.
