Elizabeth Choi, an incoming senior at Syosset High School, and Malini Rudra, an incoming eighth-grader at Harry B. Thompson Middle School, came in as runners up and 6th place respectively at the Met PGA Tour Championship held at Ardsley Country Club in Westchester on Aug. 18 &19.
Choi shot 76&77 and Rudra shot 82&78. Top 40 juniors from Westchester and Long Island qualified to compete at this prestigious golf tournament. Choi and Rudra are team members of the Syosset Varsity Golf Team, the reigning LI High School golf champions of 2014.
