Joel H. Hammer of Syosset, has joined real estate development firm Alfred Sanzari Enterprises as executive vice president/chief financial officer. In his new role, Hammer will direct the execution of the company’s business plan and strategy, and oversee all finance and accounting functions. Prior to joining Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, Hammer was senior executive and CFO at a public Real Estate Investment Trust, and was CFO/COO of a privately owned real estate investment and management company. He also spent more than 17 years as the CFO of AIG’s Global Real Estate group, playing a significant role in growing the group from startup to a company with worldwide operations and a global portfolio of more than $25 billion in assets under management. A certified public accountant, Hammer graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany.
