Obituary: Joanne C. Kempton

Joanne C. Kempton, (nee Glaser), 67, of Williston Park has died. Joanne was a dedicated teacher who influenced a generation of students at St. Aidan’s in Williston Park and Our Lady of Victory in Floral Park for more than 30 years. She was the founder and past president of Pieceful Patchers of the Park, an avid quilter and a lady fisherman. Devoted wife of Charles. Beloved mother of Jennifer and Christopher Taylor of Marlboro, MA, Kathryn and John Amaral of Melrose, MA, and Peter and Maura Kempton of Floral Park. The best grandma, (JoJo) to Emily, Ryan, Katie, Owen and Dylan. Visitation was held at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home in Williston Park. Mass was held at St. Aidan’s Church, with a burial at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Farmingdale.
