46 Homes On Inisfada

inisfada-wideThe Village of North Hills Planning Board accepted a revised site plan draft from the Manhasset Bay Group that decreased the number of lots in the proposed development on the grounds of the former St. Ignatius Retreat House from 51 to 46.

According to village officials, the applicant has submitted a revised sketch plat which would result in a development of 46 single family homes. The Village of North Hills Planning Board has authorized the applicant to proceed to file a formal application for preliminary subdivision review. The sketch plat process is a conceptual review that is not binding and is subject to change by the applicant or by the Board. The applicant must now file detailed development plans as well as an environmental study that will require public hearings and approvals by the Planning Board.

The revision complies with a request from the village planning board during a May presentation to have uniform lot sizes of 20,000 square feet on the 30.5-acre site on which the St. Ignatius Retreat House was formerly located.

The Board’s review process usually results in additional changes in a development, but the details of the particular changes cannot be foreseen at this time.
