Manhasset Attends Dinner en Blanc

BlancDinner_090514LCreated in Paris 25 years ago by François Pasquier who simply wanted to picnique with friends in forbidden places, Dîner en Blanc (the “dinner in white”) has grown into an international social event with tens of thousands of white-frocked guests and guests of guests who come together in landmark spaces to dine, dance and revel.

The extraordinary affair which has spread to 40 cities world wide was held in Manhattan’s Nelson Rockefeller Park in Batter Park City. Group leader, Laura Casale Maisano, dressed all in white with her Marie Antoinette wig with an owl perch upon it, led Manhasset residents to enjoy the spectacular event.
