The FISH of Floral Park will hold its regular board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church (use the Violet Ave. entrance). All drivers and telephoners are invited to attend. The meeting is open to the public.
The Floral Park Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. in the village courtroom.

The Irish Cultural Society will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden City Library, 60 Seventh St. The meeting is free and open to the public. Patriot Day And Local 9/11 Observances
The Village of Floral Park will remember the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001 with a memorial service at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the 9/11 Relic Memorial in front of village hall.
The Town of Hempstead 9-11 Memorial Ceremony will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7:30 a.m. at Point Lookout.

Bellerose Village Day, the bi-annual picnic and one-mile run, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, beginning at 9 a.m. at village hall, 50 Superior Rd. Call 516-354-1000 for more information.
Sunday, September 14
The Queens County Farm will host their 34th Annual Antique Motorcycle Show on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come see a display of motorcycles of various makes and models that have been out of production for more than 10 years. Trophies will be awarded for various categories. Music, historic tours, hayrides, and food will provide fun for the entire family. Free for members, $5 admission for all ages.

Floral Park Woman’s Club will hold its Daytime Welcome New Members Meeting at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the Floral Park Recreation Center. A special presentation explaining the events of the club will be given, in addition to welcoming new members.
