1. Olive Garden Defends Breadstick Policy
In this story from the Associated Press, Olive Garden franchise owners stand by their promise of “all-you-can-eat” breadsticks, claiming it conveys “Italian generosity.”
According to AP reporter Candice Choi, the company’s remarks are in response to a nearly 300-page critique from hedge fund Starboard Value.

2. 10-year-old pet goldfish undergoes brain surgery

You’re not mistaken, this is a real news story. Earlier today, KTLA news in Los Angeles, Calif., reported on an Australian animal hospital’s micr0-surgery to remove a brain tumor from a pet goldfish named “George.”
In the story, the owner, who spent hundreds of dollars to have the growth removed, claims “George” was being bullied by other fish. The surgery was a success and “George” is now recuperating at his tank at home.

3. Tim Dog, Rapper Accused of Faking His Own Death, Confirmed Dead
This earth-shattering gem from Rolling Stone magazine, shows new evidence confirming that, yes, in fact, Georgia-rapper Timothy James Blair, aka Tim Dog, died in Feb. 2013.
According to the story, speculation was raised after a prosecutor issued an arrest warrant for the rapper, which reports that he had been living with his wife and daughter in a new home. However, would uncover the truth by locating his death certificate.
