On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18 and 19, the Women’s Club of The Congregational Church of Manhasset will host its annual Antiques Fair. Presented by Flamingo Eventz, this is Long Island’s longest-running show.
Exhibitors will offer a wide range of classical antiques, European and American porcelain, china and pottery, jewelry, silver, textiles and exceptional decorative accessories. In addition, the Women’s Club will sell a variety of baked goods, including cookies, brownies, bars and tea breads. Ardito’s Deli will offer homemade Italian specialties and beverages for purchase. The hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $7 per person and children under 12 are free when accompanied by a paid adult. From 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday only, John Bruno, star of Market Warriors, will offer antiques appraisals at $5 for each item.
The Congregational Church of Manhasset is located at 1845 Northern Boulevard directly opposite the Miracle Mile. All areas are handicapped accessible, and there is free, on-site parking. The church’s telephone number is 627-4911.
