Long Island restaurants, bakeries and food purveyors are helping the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program throughout October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. In Roslyn, Kyma, 1446 Old Northern Blvd., is donating 20 percent of the proceeds from the sale of their refreshing Kymatini cocktail of masticha liquor, cucumber vodka, mint, lemon juice and a splash of soda. Owner Reno guarantees a minimum donation of $500.
Additional participants are LL Dent in Carle Place, NY Ravioli and Pasta Co. in New Hyde Park, Sempre Fame in Floral Park, Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas in Garden City, Sweet Karma Bakery in Plainview, Buttercooky Bakery in Manhasset and Floral Park, TRUE American Kitchen in Mineola.
“We hope people will support these businesses that are generously supporting us,” said Hillary Rutter, the director of the Adelphi Breast Cancer Program.
