Qualified voters residing in the Massapequa School District are being called to the polls, Tuesday Oct. 21 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. to cast their vote on the establishment of a capital reserve fund and a $35.7 million facilities bond issue.
The proposed bond issue will fund renovations to building infrastructures and upgrades to targeted learning environments at no additional cost to taxpayers. The funds will largely be used to building infrastructure renovations science classroom and library media center improvements, technology upgrades and a new multi-use synthetic turf athletic field.
