Candidate Joseph Capobianco (R)
I am a member of Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco LLP, a Garden City law firm, and practice primarily in the areas of commercial, business and real estate law. Before joining my firm in 1990, I worked for an international accounting firm and then a prominent law firm. My family and I came to Glen Cove from Sturno, Avellino. I graduated Glen Cove High School with honors in 1978 and was captain of the baseball and football teams. My family and I are active parishioners of St. Rocco’s. I am the treasurer and a board member of the YMCA.
Candidate Teri Moschetta (D)
Teri Moschetta has been a tireless advocate for Glen Cove. She will bring her smart, independent voice, along with her civic and professional expertise to the City Council. Since 2005, she’s served as the president of the Thompson Park Neighborhood Association. Her accomplishments include working with the city to change parking regulations, to add stop signs at an unregulated 3-way intersection, and to repair Thompson Park’s historic entrance wall. Moschetta also served a term with the Industrial Development Agency, and is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Currently, Moschetta works as a corporate risk manager at Pall Corporation.
