Long Islanders deserve an independent voice in Washington. I am a practicing attorney on Long Island, where I was born and raised. I learned the value of hard work at an early age from my parents. We are increasingly burdened by crushing taxes, a crippling national debt. I will fight for tax reform that lowers tax rates and eliminates unfair tax loopholes and subsidies; I will vote to bring government spending under control and reduce job-killing regulations that drag down our economy. I am an independent problem-solver who will stand up for Long Islanders and fight to get our economy back on track.

Israel is a strong supporter of incentivizing corporations to create jobs in America instead of shipping jobs overseas; allowing students to refinance college loans instead of subsidizing special interests, and protecting women’s health and economic rights.
He’s a leader in strengthening and preserving Medicare and Social Security so seniors, who have worked hard their entire lives, can receive the benefits they’ve earned and deserve.
