Massapequa Students Learn Fire Safety

Massapequa elementary schools marked Fire Prevention Week with assemblies presented by the Massapequa Fire Department.

The assemblies focused on preventing fires, fire alarms and family action plans. Students reviewed fire safety tips, such as to never play with matches, be aware of hot surfaces and “stop, drop and roll.”
