Meet the Psychics with Eyes of Learning on Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. at Levittown Hall, 201 Levittown Pkwy. in Hicksville. This evening’s program is designed to bring you the opportunity to get up close and personal with gifted readers, mediums and psychics. Members admission is $10; non-member admission is $15. No pre-registration required.

The Boy Scouting Open House will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Levittown Hall, 201 Levittown Pkwy in Hicksville from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Boy Scouts of America-Theodore Roosevelt Council of Nassau County is having a county-wide open house for all boys of the ages of 11-18 who are interested in Boy Scouting, and girls and boys who are between the ages of 14 and 20, who are interested in Venturing. Join in this opportunity to see first hand and discuss with local Troops and crews about Scouting. From ATVs, to archery, rock climbing, summer camping, canoeing, hiking, and more. The Annual Eyes of Learning Fall Festival will be held on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at Levittown Hall, 201 Levittown Pkwy in Hicksville. Includes raffles, vendors, free lectures, food, camaraderie and the option to purchase your own psychic reading. Spend a day with “like minded individuals” and make some new friends. Admission is $5.

American Legion Post 1711 will hold its annual food drive at Pathmark Shopping Center, 3901 Hempstead Tpke. on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Shoppers are requested to donate nonperishable items, frozen turkeys and money to benefit less-fortunate veterans. Baskets will be made and delivered to veterans in need.
