Northside Elementary School Fifth graders Luke Pichichero and Douglas Hafner recently participated in a watercolor contest sponsored by the Knights of Columbus lodge no. 2142. Both students’ art pieces will be included in the Lodge’s Scholarship Journal, which will be distributed at their Annual Gala Installation and Scholarship Dinner. The contest was organized by Ed Bochynski, former president of the lodge and Northside alum, and Northside Art Teacher Mrs. Napolitano, who provided the skilled instruction needed to complete this task.
