On the wake of presenting AHRC Nassau with a $44,000 check for last season’s fund raising, the Manhasset auxiliary is rolling full speed ahead planning for its Old Fashioned Holly Luncheon on Friday, Dec. 12, beginning at 11 a.m. at a warm and gracious Plandome home.
The luncheon will feature boutiques and new this year; antiques and collectibles for your holiday shopping pleasure. Dozens of gifts will be raffled. Poinsettias and wreathes as well as an abundant dessert spread will also be part of the festive afternoon.
The money raised contributes to the AHRC’s community-based programs and extensive services for autistic and developmentally disabled children and adults, Camp Loyaltown, in Hunter, N.Y., as well as guidance and support for their families. This financial support comes from Manhasset residents, friends and families attending AHRC Manhasset’s special events.
