Manhasset Park District and the Manhasset Lakeville Water and Fire District will be holding its annual elections on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The Manhasset Park District Commissioner Jesus Hernandez, the incumbent, is seeking re-election.
Two Manhasset residents have also thrown their hats into the ring. Matthew Falcone and Kenneth Weigand have submitted petitions and have entered the race.
The Manhasset Lakeville Water and Fire District election have two new candidates vying for the role of commissioner.
Mark Sauvigne, a Manhasset resident and current Manhasset Park Department commissioner, is running on the Republican ticket against Democrat Lisanne Altmann, the former Nassau County legislator for the seat being vacated by Andrew DeMartin.
Manhasset residents must have been registered to vote with the Nassau County Board of Elections prior to Nov. 16.
The polling place for Manhasset residents is Company One Firehouse on Bayview Avenue in Manhasset.
The polls will be open between noon and 9 p.m. for the purpose of electing one Water Commissioner for the Water District for a full term of three years ending Dec. 31, 2017.
