Songfest Tickets Available
Tickets for the Village of New Hyde Park’s Holiday Songfest are now on sale in Village Hall at 1420 Jericho Tpke. in New Hyde Park, Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. The show is Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in the William Gill Theatre on the second floor of Village Hall. Tickets are $3 per person.
Exercise Class
The Town of North Hempstead’s Project Independence will hold an exercise class at 9:30 a.m. in Clinton G. Martin Park at 1601 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park.

Blood Drive
The Ashram Kant Darshan Darbar is giving away two free tickets to a New York Mets game at Citifield to each person who donates blood during a blood drive between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The ashram, at 115 Jericho Tpke. in Mineola, is a place of worship for the international Mahraz Darshan Das movement, which seeks to achieve world peace.
Donors are asked to bring photo ID and must be between 16 and 75 years old with a minimum weight of 110 pounds. Donors are advised to eat food and drink fluids before donating. Anyone who has had a tattoo in the past 12 months is ineligible to donate blood.
To schedule a blood donation, call the ashram at 516-415-2007. Questions about medical eligibility to donate blood should be directed to the New York Blood Center, which is co-sponsoring the blood drive, at 800-688-0900.

15 Below, an alternative rock will host a concert benefiting Toys For Tots in conjunction with the Hance Foundation at 7:30 p.m. in the William Gill Theatre at 1420 Jericho Tpke. in New Hyde Park. Guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to the concert. Toys can include: balls, basketballs, board games, crafts, rainbow loom, sport toys, etc.

The Village of New Hyde Park will hold a tree lighting and magic show at 3:30 p.m. in the Marcus Christ Community Center at 1420 Jericho Tpke. in New Hyde Park. Gently used coats will be collected for the Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Coat Drive.
