The Fall Volleyball league recently came to an exciting and event filled conclusion. Teams and individuals playing in the fall league enjoyed season ending competitive games, sets and matches.
After five weeks of beautiful and rain-free nights, the Recreation Department’s Fall Volleyball program ran into playoff problems created by several inclement nights during the two rounds of the playoffs.
The four divisions played their championship matches with the regular season league leaders prevailing in the finals. Congratulations go out to the fall champions and runner ups: (Men’s) Nice Ace 3 to 1 over Moonshot Mulligans, (Women’s Competitive) Dee Dee’s Luncheonette over Boom Boom Pow 3 sets to 0, (Women’s Intermediate) Wolverines 3 to 0 over Kissing Ace and the best match saw the Recreation squad of Kissing Ace defeat Spiked 3 sets to 2.
