Art Show At Library

The Manhasset Public Library together with its Art Advisory Committee and Exhibitions Director Amy Finkston,  announces a new exhibit in the Community Room Art Gallery titled “Variations on a Theme.”
The exhibit runs from Sunday, Dec. 7, until 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015.
An Artists’ Reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Please call the Library at 516-627-2300 to find out viewing hours at the Gallery. Smaller scale images on the exhibit theme continue on all floors of the Library.
“Variations on a Theme” is a presentation of interpretations of an object(s) or concept(s) from different angles, times of day, or seasons of the year by photographers, painters, fabric artists, collagists, and printmakers.
The viewer will join the artist in a visual journey exploring the various ways something can be seen and the differing emotional impact of what is seen.
