Dairy Queen Opens Its Levittown Doors

New restaurant serves up iconic soft-serve treats

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, the Levittown Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Levittown. 

 

This location is the newest Dairy Queen restaurant in a family of more than 6,300 restaurants world-wide committed to offering every fan a place where they can relax and share a great meal and one-of-a-kind soft-serve treats.

 

“I’m so excited to open this DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Levittown,” said restaurant operator Laura Maier, who owns another DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Massapequa. “The Massapequa community embraced the DQ brand with open arms, and we can’t wait to welcome the Levittown community into enjoy our full menu of cravable food items, signature and innovative treats and Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and Julius Original drinks.”  

 

The 3,800 square-foot DQ Grill & Chill restaurant seats 97 guests inside, and also offers a convenient drive-thru window. The Levittown restaurant has added more than 50 new jobs, contributing to Levittown’s employment growth. The new restaurant also will contribute to the state’s restaurant sales, which according to the National Restaurant Association, are projected to increase by 3.6 percent this year. 

 

The Levittown Dairy Queen, at 3095 Hempstead Tpke., is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to midnight.
