Joyce Ann and Arthur Liebman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Dec. 19. Arthur Liebman was a teacher for many years in the English Department of Roslyn High School. He also taught at NYU, the New School for Social Research and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Joyce Ann Liebman, concert pianist, has performed as featured pianist of the Connoisseur Chamber Ensemble in the tristate area, Europe, the Caribbean, Tel-Aviv and throughout Long Island.
The Liebmans have presented their lectures and music programs about Sherlock Holmes from Hester Street to Hollywood in museums, universities and on luxury cruise ships.
Joyce and Arthur met when he came to a fund-raiser for a choral society where Joyce was singing in an oratorio. When Arthur was courting Joyce he would come and bring cherry vanilla ice cream and scarlatti sonatas. While Joyce played the piano sonatas for him, they would share ice cream.

Their son Robert is an accomplished violinist. Rob and Anna are truly dedicated parents of 12-year-old Daniela Liebman, a piano prodigy. Daniela performed her debut last year as a soloist at Carnegie Hall with the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony Orchestra.
