Mayer CPAs in Woodbury and New York City ran their first annual toy drive this past holiday season, which collected toys for sick children at North Shore LIJ Cohen’s Children’s Hospital.
“We had a great experience running this toy drive and had the opportunity to give a smile to a child and give them a chance to forget about their sickness and experience the joys of the holidays,” said Marianna Mooney, Partner at Mayer CPAs and co-chair of the toy drive.
The firm collected new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. For those who wanted to participate but do not have the time to buy a toy, the firm accepted checks and purchased gifts on behalf of those who would like to contribute to the cause.
