McNamara, William, of Levittown, died on Jan. 9. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Verizon. Beloved husband of Maurine P., loving father of Elizabeth A. McDonnell (Keith), William (Dawn), Stephen (Diana), Donna Dell’Aera (John) and the late Eleanor Mary. Dear brother of Margaret Wholey. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Stephen, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Robert, Meghan, Alyssa, Michael, Jillian, Dana and Rebecca.
Friends may call on Sunday, Jan. 18 and Monday, Jan. 19 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes, Hicksville Chapel, 47 Jerusalem Ave. (corner of West Marie St.). Mass will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard’s R. C. Church in Levittown. Interment at Long Island National Cemetery.
