Nassau County police arrested a man today in connection with a burglary of the St. Aidan’s Church in March 2014. Police said Denis Alvarado, 29, of Hempstead, removed a large screen Samsung television between Saturday, March 1, 2014 and Sunday, March 2, 2014.
According to police, the rear door of the church was pryed open and the TV was removed from the alter area. Alvarado was charged with six counts of third-degree burglary and will be arraigned on Monday, Jan. 19 in First District Court in Hempstead.
