I enjoy “Around Town With Lou” and appreciate the hard work it must entail to complete it. However, your joke about Roe v. Wade in a recent edition of the Mineola American was in very poor taste.
The butchering of more than 40 million unborn children since that decision, a particularly dark turn for our once great nation, is never ever remotely a joking matter. It opened the floodgates to a chipping away at respect for all life as Mother Theresa wisely predicted that, “a country will never be blessed that allows a mother to take the life of her own child…”
