A burglar tried to a force a 21-year-old woman into her Westbury apartment when she turned to flee upon arriving home and discovering her front door open three weeks ago, Nassau County police said Wednesday.

Police released images of the suspect, who was caught on a surveillance camera, in the hope that a member of the public might recognize him. The suspect is described as 5-feet, 9-inches tall, 20 to 25 years old with a mustache. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
