Movie At The Library

See This is Where I Leave You at the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Library, 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week. Canvas Painting

For kids ages 4 and up, 1 to 1:30 p.m. Kids don’t just watch the show—they’re part of the adventure in this interactive story crafting program. Registration started in January for OB-EN residents and starts on Feb.19 for nonresidents, space permitting. Kids Night Out

History Lecture

MaryLaura Lamont, Park Ranger at Fire Island National Seashore, visits the Oyster Bay Historical Society to present a slide program on the 250-year history of the William Floyd Estate. The event begins at 2 p.m. in the society’s Angela Koenig Center at 20 Summit St. in Oyster Bay. Attendance is free and open to all. Writer’s Workshop

A writer’s workshop will be held at Bayville Free Library, 34 School  St., from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The group meets every fourth Monday of the month. Facilitated by local author Barbara Garriel. Crochet Connection

Beginners or experienced crocheters are welcome to learn the basic foundation stitches such as slip knot, chain, single and double crochet, for ages 6 and up. From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Library. Participants should be taking away a completed project at the end of the five weeks. Movie At The Library

See the movie Fury at the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Library, 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. April, 1945. Photography Exhibit

Food Pantry

The North Shore Assembly of God, 84 Orchard St., Oyster Bay is operating a new food pantry for the community. It is meant to supplement the growing needs of the community. It is open on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. If you are in need of their service, please call Pastor Diane at 516-922-2547 and make an appointment to complete their screening process.
