Bounce! Trampoline Sports, Long Island’s spectacular indoor sports center, has just become even more exciting with the addition of another Bounce! first—Galactic Jump ‘n Glow. No other trampoline sports arena has anything like it. Friday and Saturday nights from 8 to 11 p.m., a live DJ sets the tone for a spectacular laser/black light show that transforms Bounce! into a glow-in-the-dark, laser-pulsating extravaganza.
Bouncers ages eight to adult can “dress to glow” in black-light sensitive clothing from tops to socks to hats and gloves while participating in such fun activities as Trampoline Dodgeball, Slam Dunk Basketball, Open Bouncing, Foam Pit Jumps, Rope Swings and the only indoor Trampoline Bungee Jump in America.
“The response to Galactic Jump ‘n Glow has been phenomenal,” said directors Rick Caplan and Danny Fried. “No other trampoline sports complex that we know of has anything like this. It adds a whole new dimension to trampoline jumping.”
Also adding to the excitement is glow in the dark face painting.
“We experimented with face painting our first weekend and the kids went wild for it,” said Fried. “So we’ve added complimentary face painting to our Galactic Jump and Glow nights so the kids can glow from head to toe.”
In addition to the laser and black lights, Bounce! commissioned a series of glow in the dark murals to add a psychedelic spin to the show. Toni Isnardi, a Hicksville resident and art major at Nassau Community College and employee of Bounce!, created the murals.
Galactic Jump ‘n Glow is offered at no additional admission charge. Rates are as follows: $15 for 60 minutes, $20 for 90 minutes and $25 for 120 minutes.
