Woman Shot Multiple Times in North Babylon, Cops Say

Suffolk County police are looking for a suspect who shot a Wyandanch woman multiple times while she was seated in the passenger seat of a car in North Babylon early Saturday morning, police said.

The victim, 22-year-old Antonia Brown, was in a 2007 Toyota Scion TC that was parked on Governor Avenue when an unknown assailant fired multiple rounds into the vehicle at 1:30 a.m., police said.

Brown suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and had to be transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where she was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, police said.
