Floral Park Memorial High School freshman Italia Gorski (center) was one of 44 ninth graders in the country to earn a perfect score in the WordWright Challenge. Gorski, pictured with Floral Park Principal Dr. Kathleen Sottile and English teacher Dustin Demmers, competed against more than 60,000 high school students from 47 states in the first WordWright challenge of the academic school year. Floral Park students participate in the event four times annually.
