Holiday Sports

The weather may have been frigid in Great Neck over the February holiday school break, but the Great Neck Park District’s Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink was on fire with skaters registered for Skate Camp, Hockey Clinics and lots of public sessions. Beginning Monday, Feb. 16, and running through Friday, Feb. 20, children up to age 17 had the option of registering for Skate or Tennis Camp. Skaters were able to enjoy on- and off-ice instruction, crafts, games and lots of fun. The tennis camp, at the Parkwood Indoor Tennis Center, offered a morning or afternoon session and included instruction, games and match play. Over the April 2015 holiday week, the park district will, once again, be offering these camps.
